Printmaking: Screenprinting
Working in our specialist print studio, this 8-week course will give you a fantastic introduction to the art of screenprinting. Learners will work in a friendly and creative environment to create multiple screenprints on paper.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements. If you are new to printmaking, you may benefit from our beginners Exploring Printmaking course, however anyone can join our specialist screenprinting course. -
Course Content
Over the 8 week course there will be opportunities to select from a range of screen printing techniques and processes beginning with developing images to transform into prints. These images could be representational and or abstract. Printing processes could include open screen printing, working with hand drawn positives, opaque and translucent colours, and multi-layered screens. -

You could progress onto another of our printmaking evening classes, such as Printmaking: Drypoint. -

Materials and equipment will be provided. Should you become more ambitious in the scale of your work we may ask for a contribution towards materials used.Please be aware our courses need to meet a minimum recruitment number in order for them to run, a full refund will be provided should a course not meet the required numbers. Once the course has started no refunds or partial refunds will be given.
