Printmaking: Drypoint
Working in our specialist print studio, this 5-week course will give you a fantastic introduction to the art of drypoint etching.

Course Content
Over the 5-week course there will be opportunities to explore a range of dry point techniques, with the aim of producing resolved dry point prints. Techniques covered will include tonal and line effects such as surface tone, cross-hatching, the burr and roughening. You will have an opportunity to develop your own appropriate images whether representational or abstract. -
Progression Next Steps
You could progress onto our Printmaking - Studio Session, where learners can work on their own projects in our specialist facilities. -

Materials and equipment will be provided. Should you become more ambitious in the scale of your work we may ask for a contribution towards materials used.Please be aware our courses need to meet a minimum recruitment number in order for them to run, a full refund will be provided should a course not meet the required numbers.
