This 8-week course is a great introduction to the world of clay! Ideal for people who want to learn new skills in a friendly and fun environment.

  • Entry Requirements

    We have no entry requirements.

  • Course Content

Working in our specialist 3D workshop you will be taught a range of clay construction techniques including coiling and slab building. Throughout the lessons you will also explore a range of decorative techniques including glazing and sgraffito to add colour and pattern to your work. You'll begin with tutor-led projects, starting with hand-built tiles before moving on to shaping bowls and mugs. In the final weeks, you'll design and build a slab-constructed vase - customising its proportions and surface treatment to bring your vision to life.
