Pottery for Beginners
This 8-week course is a great introduction to the world of clay! Ideal for people who want to learn new skills in a friendly and fun environment.

Course Content
Working in our specialist 3D workshop you will be taught a range of clay construction techniques including coiling and slab building. Throughout the lessons you will also explore a range of decorative techniques including glazing and sgraffito to add colour and pattern to your work. You will begin with tutor-led projects to introduce you to working with clay and then choose your own project for the last few weeks of the course. This could include dishes, vases, mugs, coasters, decorative ornaments and more! -

You could progress onto another of our evening classes, including Pottery for intermediates. -
