BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Business Studies

4 x GCSEs at grade 3 or above (or a Level 1 qualification in a relevant subject) plus Maths and English at grade 3, or a Functional Skills qualification in maths and / or English.

We will invite you to a Meet the Tutor event where you will receive information, advice, and guidance about the course you have applied for. This will be an opportunity for you to gain valuable information about the course and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

You will provide a copy of your last school report or reference from your School and / or a reference from an employer or relevant professional other. This is to ensure we can support you to be able to achieve well on the course.

Most students progress to study BTEC Level 3 Business Studies.

There are lots of opportunities available to you to progress across the South Thames Colleges Group and into the world beyond education.

The BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Business Studies is equivalent to two GCSEs.

If you have a grade 3 or below in English and/or Maths, you will retake these GCSEs alongside Business Studies.

You will take two units in January, and you will submit coursework for the remaining units throughout the year.
