  • Course Content


    Singing has long been known to have benefits for both physical and mental health. Studies on singing and wellbeing have reported many positive effects, including improvements to heart and lung function, immunity and memory, as well as reduced levels of stress and anxiety.

    In this course, you will explore the connection between singing and wellbeing in a supportive and inclusive environment, through breathing and vocal exercises, group singing and discussion. You will learn a series of vocal warm-up routines to release tension and extend the range and power of your voice, and sing together in a range of styles in unison and harmony, with some opportunities for solo singing.

  • Additional Information


    A general sewing kit with needles, threads and scissors, graph paper, dressmakers carbon paper, ruler and fabric pen. A small check gingham fabric will be useful but not essential.
