Human Sciences

Applied Human Sciences is an exciting Level 3 course where you will gain qualifications in different subjects in order to progress to university.

You will study three different subjects to gain qualifications in each that are the equivalent to three A levels:
Applied Psychology
Applied Human Biology
Applied Criminology

There are plenty of practical activities to boost your understanding of scientific techniques and you'll study aspects of Biology, as well as subjects specific to the Psychology/Criminology fields. Training in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) is vital in the UK and global economy today and the skills and knowledge you learn on this course could really get you ahead in the job market.

I chose to study Applied Science because it’s a highly practical course, which has greatly boosted my understanding of scientific techniques such as looking at a heartbeat under a microscope. Justina Blair, Science Student
