This qualification is aimed at you if you, if you are looking to start a career in the electrical industry.
This qualification is suitable for adult students (19 or over) that wish to study Part Time for 2 evenings per week.
There are no formal entry requirements for anyone wishing to take this qualification, though you may be asked to complete a Maths & English assessment to demonstrate that you have the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy required to comply with the health and safety aspects of the scheme, the completion of the learning outcomes, and the assessments. Entry is subject to interview.

Centres and providers may work with local employers who can contribute to the knowledge and delivery of training. Employers may provide demonstrations and talks on the industry and where possible work placements will also be provided by the employers. This practically based training is ideal preparation for training on the job or specialist further study.
