Key Facts

Access to Nursing - Level 3

You'll study nursing roles, anatomy & physiology, sociology, psychology, English & study skills and maths. Many approaches to learning are used including individual and small/large group work. Academic and tutorial support is given throughout the course. Health and social care courses like this open up a huge range of career options to you. If you're an international student, please note that many UK universities will not accept you for a nursing degree if you are here on a visa or have not been a resident for more than three years. You will also need to have paid or voluntary experience within health and social care.

For 23/24 the course will run on Tuesdays 9:30-4:45 and Tuesdays 9.15-4. You will need a significant amount of time outside of class to complete the assignments in order to meet course work deadlines.

If you already have a level 3 qualification, or are aged 24+ then you will need to apply for the Advanced Learner Loan to pay the tuition fees, and this is deleted once you progress to university.

This is a very successful course and all of our students progress to university to study their chosen pathway.
