Personal Safety for Young People (Distance Learning)
This course is designed for adults who want to gain a deeper understanding of the personal safety risks young people face today. You will be introduced to personal safety risks, and the importance of being aware of dangers and understanding strategies to stay safe. You will learn about staying safe on social media platforms and issues such as grooming and scams. You will gain an understanding of risky behaviour when using social media, such as taking part in challenges. You will also cover safe travel and safety measures such as sharing your travel plans with trusted people and planning your route in advance.
