Menopause Awareness (Distance Learning)
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of menopause, covering its three stages, causes, and the impact it can have on individuals—including trans and VSD people.
It is designed for individuals and professionals interested in learning about menopause and seeking to understand and empathise with those experiencing it, the training promotes sensitivity, empathy, and practical strategies for providing effective support.

Course Content
- What happens (the 3 different stages of menopause), why it happens and the impact it has on the individual (including trans and VSD individuals).
- Managing individual health and wellbeing including mental health in relation to the menopause, and making reasonable adjustments at work to support them e.g. flexible working, shift patterns, breaks, dress code. Sensitivity and empathy.
- Training for those managing or working with someone going through the menopause, support signposting for those suffering during the menopause or have a loved one who is.
