Caring for Children L1 Tooting
This FREE course encourages an understanding of the knowledge and the skills needed to care for young children. You may gain employment within a nursery or after school club.

To attend this course you must: Be 19 years old or older Be legally allowed to live and work in the UK Have lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 yearsYou must also attend a short initial assessment at South Thames College Tooting Campus.

Course Content
Level 1 Award in Caring for Children This course will cover Growth and development of young children. Practical health and safety when working with young children. Healthy eating for families. Musical activities for young children. -

Course Structure
This course runs from 9.30am to 3.00pm for one day a week for 6 weeks It is a requirement that you attend all sessions. -
