This course encourages an understanding of the knowledge and the skills needed to care for young children.

  • Entry Requirements


    You will be assessed on the first session and given advice about the suitability of this course according to your level of written English. You need English at E3 level or above

    You do not require any previous childcare experience to enrol on this course.

  • Course Content


    This qualification develops the basic skills needed to care for a baby or young child. There is a choice of units – from setting a routine through to healthy lifestyles and the importance of play and learning.
