The course is designed to develop your practical bookkeeping skills. It will introduce you to the role of the bookkeeper and bookkeeping terminology so that you can contribute effectively in the workplace.

    The course is made up of the following components:

    *Understand the role of the bookkeeper

    *Understand financial transactions

    *Process customer and supplier transactions

    *Process receipts and payments

    *Understand the benefits and risks of accounting software to complete bookkeeping tasks

  • Progression Next Steps


    This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to progress to employment. It will allow to progress to the AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping or the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting.
