Spanish Beginners (Part 3)

Are you planning to visit Spain or South America for a holiday? Perhaps your employment brings you into contact with Spanish speakers or maybe you would like to communicate with friends or family who speak the language?

This course is a continuation from Terms 1 and 2, and is suitable for those with a basic knowledge of Spanish.

  • Entry Requirements


    You should have completed Terms 1 and 2 beginners Spanish before joining this course, or have approximately 40 hours of prior learning.

  • Course Content


    This course is ideal for those with very basic knowledge of Spanish.

    At the end of the course, you will be able to:

    • express basic words, short phrases and simple questions

      • recognise and understand basic words and short phrases
    • extract specific details from given material

    • take part in a basic dialogue

    • understand basic instructions /signs and simple texts

    • produce a simple list of items on familiar topics

    • write a basic short message or note

    • read and respond to simple written material
