Pottery for All
This course is suitable for students who wish to start pottery as well as those who have some experience and skills. Whether you are considering pottery as a hobby to improve your wellbeing or working towards selling your work, this course will enable you to explore both.

Entry Requirements
This course is suitable for complete pottery beginners or those with some prior experience of working with clay. -
Course Content
Beginners will learn several key hand building skills including coiling, slabbing and press moulding. Students with prior making skills will work on guided personal projects reflecting on historical or contemporary ceramics with the opportunity to throw on the potter's wheel. -

Additional Information
You will need to bring a small notebook and pen/pencil. Clay is charged at £3.00 per kilo on completion of work. More for specialist clays. The tutor will provide further information at the first session.
