You'll learn the skills to create both traditional and contemporary embroidery.

Entry Requirements
This course is suitable for complete beginners or those with some prior experience. -
Course Content
This course is ideal for anyone interested in creative textile design, embroidery and handcrafted textiles. It focuses on hand embroidery and hand stitching techniques and covers decorative and traditional needlework such as shadow work, broderie anglais, ribbon embroidery and fabric manipulation techniques. -

Enrol on another craft course at the college. -
Additional Information
A general sewing kit with needles, threads and scissors, graph paper, dressmakers carbon paper, ruler and fabric pen. A small check gingham fabric will be useful but not essential. -
Assessment Details
Students will be asked to complete a final creative project using the skills they have learnt on the course.
