This course is designed to enable you to try a new craft in order to consider it as a hobby or even a new profession. The course is 3 weeks long and you will be given the opportunity to try different techniques used in this craft. We hope that after competing this course you will choose to progress further onto our mainstream programme within this subject area.

    By the end of this course, you will be able to: Use a selection of basic materials for embroidery. Learn and apply 5-10 traditional embroidery stitches. Create and embroider simple designs.

    Please bring an embroidery hoop, some plain fabric, embroidery floss, assorted needles and scissors.
