This FREE course covers roles in spectator safety. Work as a steward in a variety of large spectator events including sports grounds, street festivals and music concerts.

  • Entry Requirements


    • Pass an English assessment at Level 1
    • Be 19 or older and be legally allowed to work in the UK
    • Have lived in the UK or EU for the last three years

  • Course Content


    • Level 2 Award in Spectator Safety, including:
    • Preparing for spectator events
    • Assisting with the movement of spectators
    • Dealing with crowd issues at events
    • Managing and resolving conflicts
    • Dealing with incidents at spectator events
    • Equality & Diversity
    • Level 3 First Aid in the Workplace Certificate
    • Health and Safety at Work

  • Progression Next Steps


    To upgrade the Award to a full certificate you require a work-based observation. We can only do this when you are working in a spectator safety setting. Your assessor will give you more details about how this works.
