An introduction to the basic aspects of the Spanish language which will enable you to take part in simple conversations. A lively course which aims to enable you to take part in conversations and to achieve a basic understanding of Spanish so that you will be able to cope in everyday situations.

If you're self-employed, you might be able to deduct your enrolment fee from your taxable income. If you are on a low wage, unemployed or claim Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA) then you can enrol on the course for free.

    You will learn to:

    • ask and give personal information including profession, nationality
    • ask and give directions
    • discuss interests and hobbies
    • talk about your family
    • describe places
    • order food and drink at a bar or restaurant
    • talk about what you do: work and studies
    • ask and say what time it is
    • describe your daily routine
    • talk about your free time activities and express likes and dislikes
    • describe people´s personality
