This course is for non-native (ESOL) students who want to develop their language skills in a specific context. The course will be framed around an activity or skill such as Volunteering, Reading with your child, Organising a charity fund raising event and Steps into Work.

Entry Requirements
You will be given an initial assessment in your first class. This will include a piece of writing, a reading task and a speaking activity. If the level of the class is appropriate for you, you will be invited to join the group. -
Course Content
The course will include elements of the following:- Develop your vocabulary and grammar
- Improve your communication skills including discussion and debating skills.
- Write posters, letters, leaflets, short stories
- Learn how to make stories interesting
- Start volunteering The level of the course will be decided at the initial assessment.
