Understanding Behaviour That Challenges - Level 2 - TOOTING
The FREE course will improve your understanding of the reasons why individuals display behaviour that challenges and its impacts and effects. Challenging behaviour is causing increasing concern today as many individuals have increasing levels of stress and uncertainty in their lives. This behaviour can be due to factors such as anxiety, neglect, abuse, learning disabilities and conditions like dementia. Understanding the causes of challenging behaviour is the first step towards finding ways to support individuals and manage their behaviour.

Entry Requirements
To join this course you must be 19 years old or over, be legally allowed to live and work in the UK and have lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 years. You must also pass a short assessment for English and maths -
Course Content
This course includes Understanding Behaviour That Challenges, how to Support Positive Behaviour, the Importance of Effective Communication and the Role of Reflection and Support for those involved in Incidents of Behaviour that Challenges. -

Course Structure
The FREE course will be distance learning over 8 weeks with some face to face meetings with an assessor - ensuring all government guidelines for coronavirus are being carried out, handwashing , wearing a face covering and social distancing. -
