Upholstery
You will learn how to use upholstery tools and equipment through a combination of one-to-one teaching and group demonstrations and discussions. You will choose a project to work on in class and develop your confidence to work independently.

There are no entry requirements. Once enrolled on the course you will discuss with the tutor to discuss a suitable project. -
Course Content
By the end of the course you will be able to:Use the tools confidently and safely
Have knowledge of traditional upholstery techniques
Be confident in planning and costing
Identify the origins and sources of the materials used in traditional techniques
Identify the historical influences in traditional upholstery design.

You will complete an individual learning plan and provide self-assessment throughout the course. Photos and displays of your completed work will also be used.
