Adobe Photoshop for Photographers
Learn to use Adobe's industry standard imaging-based software. This beginner's course will help you to enhance portrait and holiday photographs, adjust exposures and colours and much more. You will learn to use a wide variety of tools and their effects and produce images for the web, printing and desktop publishing. There will be projects on different subjects on a simple step by step basis.

Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required. Basic IT skills using either a Windows based PC or Apple Mac computer are essential. -
Course Content
This course is aimed at students who are already involved in photography, graphic design, web design, art or illustration or are thinking of a career change.It covers the following: Enhancing portrait and holiday photographs. Adjusting exposures and colours using JPEG and RAW files. Creating panoramic scenes and merging differently exposed photographs. Using layers to edit content. Preparing images for print, websites, emails and desktop publishing. Make changes to some of your own photographs.

Additional Information
Equipment and materials Lesson information sheets will be provided in all lessons. Please bring a pen and a notepad to write your own additional notes and bring your own memory stick to copy any project work in order to practice at home. If you bring along your own laptop computer with the same software, please ensure you have a mouse, as using the scroll panel is likely to be too slow for you to keep up with the lesson tasks. -

There is group and one to one tuition. Constructive advice and problem solving of students' own work will also be given.
