Singing for Wellbeing
Singing has long been known to have benefits for both physical and mental health. Studies on singing and wellbeing have reported many positive effects, including improvements to heart and lung function, immunity and memory, as well as reduced levels of stress and anxiety.
In this course, you will explore the connection between singing and wellbeing in a supportive and inclusive environment, learning breathing and vocal exercises, singing together as a group with optional solos, and discussing topics including singing and wellbeing, communication and expression, managing nerves and performance practice.

You will learn songs in a range of styles and sing together in unison and harmony, as well as having the opportunity to work on a solo song and receive supportive feedback and advice.Topics covered include:
