This courses is here to introduce you to the basic of the graphic design craft and enable you to understand its main principles while giving you a strong foundation for further progression.

Course Content
This qualification aims to enable learners to develop basic skills in graphic design. It will provide learners with underpinning knowledge of graphic design and the basis for progression into further study.To be awarded the NCFE Level 1 Award in Graphic Design, learners are required to successfully complete 4 mandatory units:
*Unit 01 Explore graphic processes, materials and techniques
*Unit 02 Explore sources of ideas in a graphic design context
*Unit 03 Explore and develop graphic design ideas
*Unit 04 Produce and present final graphic outcomes
In their portfolios, learners will create evidence to demonstrate achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria associated with each unit.
