T-Level Technical Qualificaton in Health
T Levels is a two-year qualification that you can do after GCSE as an alternative to A Levels, other post-16 courses or an apprenticeship. Combining theoretical knowledge with experience in the real world of work, T Levels give you a head start in your future, whether that's employment, a higher apprenticeship or further education.

Entry Requirements
5 x GCSE's at Grade 4 or above including English and Mathematics. You are further required to provide a copy of your last school report showing excellent attendance to ensure we can support you to be able to achieve well on the course.We are firmly committed to finding the right course for you to ensure you can flourish. Additional Information
When you pass your T Level, you will get a nationally recognised certificate showing the overall grade you achieved (Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction*). It will also give details of what you learned on the course to help you move into skilled employment or a higher apprenticeship.All courses run subject to demand and the content listed here should be used as a guide only. Course content may vary according to a range of factors such as course duration, campus, teaching staff and requirements from awarding bodies.

Course Structure
The qualification is made up of core knowledge, understanding and concepts, specialist content covering occupational or industry specific skills and an industry placement with an employer which will last a minimum of 45 days.You will develop a general understanding of health and science:
-working within the health and science sector -health, safety and environmental regulations -managing information and data -principles of good scientific and clinical practice -core science concepts including the structure of cells, tissues and large molecules, genetics, microbiology and immunology
You will also learn about topics specific to health, including:
-understanding the healthcare sector -providing person-centred care -supporting health and wellbeing -further knowledge of both human anatomy and physiology and of diseases and disorders -infection prevention and control
In addition to the core content, you will also specialise in the following area:
-Supporting the adult nursing team

Assessment Details
You will sit an externally set exam at the end of each academic year to test your understanding of the subject. You will also undertake a skill-assessment to demonstrate your competency skills. Whilst on work placement, you will be set a project by your employer that you must successfully complete to demonstrate your overall breadth of learning.Your T Level will be worth UCAS points (a T Level Distinction is worth the same as three A levels at A) and will be recognised by universities and other education providers so you can choose to continue studying if you wish.
