The Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Information Technology is a practical, career-focused qualification designed for students who are interested in developing skills for the fast-growing digital and technology sector. Equivalent to two A Levels, this course combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, preparing learners for both higher education and employment in IT-related fields such as software development, cybersecurity and digital business.

    4 GCSEs at Grade 4 - 9 or above, including:

    The course covers a broad range of IT topics to build both technical and professional skills.

    Core Units may include: -Information Technology Systems -Creating Systems to Manage Information (Databases) -Using Social Media in Business

    Specialist Units may include: -Website Development -Cyber Security and Incident Management -Programming -IT Project Management -Cloud Storage and Collaboration Tools

    Students will also develop key transferable skills such as problem-solving, communication, and project planning.
