Unlock your creativity using Canva and AI This beginner friendly course introduces you to Canva and its powerful AI tools, helping you build confidence with digital design in a supportive, step by step environment.

Learners will explore Canva's features, templates, and design before moving into AI powered tools such as Magic Design for instant layouts, Magic Write for generating text, Magic Edit for transforming images, Magic Media for AI generated visuals, and Magic Animate for simple motion effects.

Through practical, real world tasks, learners will create digital posters, flyers, social media posts and personalised projects while learning about colour, layout, accessibility, and ethical AI use.

    This course provides a gentle, supportive introduction to digital design using Canva's AI powered tools. It is ideal for adults who want to build confidence with technology, develop creative skills or produce designs for personal, community or work related projects. Learners will gain practical experience through hands‑on tasks, guided demonstrations and a final project that showcases their new abilities. No previous design or digital experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

    You will be introduced to Canva and guided step by step through the essential digital tools needed to create simple, attractive designs. you'll explore the essential tools and features of Canva, including how to work with the interface, use templates, and apply simple design principles such as colour, layout and spacing. You'll learn how to use Canva's AI tools to generate layouts, write text, edit images and create visuals, making the design process quicker and more accessible. Practical tasks include creating posters, social media graphics, invitations and a final personalised project. The course focuses on building confidence, creativity and digital skills through guided practice and real world design activities.
