Learn To Play The Guitar (Beginners/Improvers)

This course is aimed at beginner/improvers and will provide you with a solid grounding in the core techniques of the guitar.

Course Content

On this course you will learn:
Notation; guitar tablature & chord diagrams
Strumming Patterns (4/4 3/4, 6/8, shuffle)
Open Chord, barre chords & Chords Extensions
Linear & alternate fingerpicking patterns
Songs which include core techniques
Progression Next Steps

Additional Information

Materials Please bring your own guitar, tuner, capo, plectrums, pen & paper. If using an electric guitar please bring battery powered amp & lead, We are sorry but for safety reasons mains operated amps cannot be used.
Assessment Details

Your teacher will give you feedback and advice. There is no final exam.
