Baking: Cakes, Breads and Pastries (Part 3)
This 10-week course is suitable for both beginners and more experienced bakers. The course provides a lot of creative freedom to participants, who will work on a portfolio showcasing their individual ideas. You will analyse and study ingredients in detail, learn new skills and techniques and experiment with different flavours.
Participants will be able to share ideas and recipes from different cultures as we discuss different regional approaches to baking.

Each week you will create a different bake, developing your skills through a range of techniques:- Mini cupcakes
- Biscuits - Florentines and shortbread
- Bread (multigrain soda)
- Chocolate tart
- Cake Decorating - fruit and jelly
- Victoria Sponge
- Tarte tatin (V)
- 3-layered cake - coffee & walnut
- Meringues
- Loaf week - lemon drizzle cake
