If a student is sick on the day of their lessons, the student can fill in a google form to explain their absence. They will have to do this before 10 a.m. on that day. Absences can be logged by KC students only. Parents/Carers can contact the Academic Tutor directly by email.

This report will then be copied into ProMonitor under – comments – absence reporting. It will appear in the student's comments.
Students will still get text messages sent to them and their parents informing them they have missed their lessons. These absence comments are for information purposes. They will not be authorised absences. Academic tutors will still need to monitor student attendance.
The reporting may not be completed on the day but we aim to get these added as soon as possible.
