Kingston College offers an exciting next step in your child’s journey towards confidence, independence and future success. College life is different from school, students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning, develop independence and build skills that prepare them for both work and higher education, all within a supportive environment. Our teaching and support teams are here throughout their time with us, offering academic and wellbeing guidance whenever needed. Our tutors bring strong industry experience and are committed to helping every learner succeed. Small class sizes mean students receive individual attention, and our wide range of courses supports different interests, learning styles and future goals.
Which course is right for your child?
Our website is the best place to explore available subjects. Whether your child prefers academic study, vocational learning or a mix of both, we can help them choose the right path. We would recommend attending one of our Open Events and chatting to a Careers Advisor, who can help find the right course for your child.
How does my child apply?
Students can apply online, and every course lists its entry requirements, they can also apply in person at one of our Open Events, we have staff available to help you apply on the day.
What financial support is available?
Depending on household income and individual circumstances, your child may be eligible for a bursary or financial assistance. More details are available on our Fees and Finance page.
What is student life like?
We encourage students to take part in enrichment activities that build confidence, introduce new interests and develop skills that employers value. There are plenty of clubs, events and opportunities to get involved in, as well as fantastic work experience opportunities.
How does my child know if they are on a track with their studies?
Students can access our online platform EBS to monitor attendance, grades and overall progress, supported by regular tutorials. Parents are kept informed through parents’ evenings throughout the year, and you can contact your child's tutor at any time. If a student begins to fall behind, we act quickly to provide support, involving parents or guardians if concerns continue.
How do you help my child prepare for the future?
Our Careers and Employability teams support students with university applications, CV writing, job applications and interview preparation. Our aim is to help every student aim high and take confident steps towards their future and achieve their potential.
