"I chose to study a Fashion BTEC as I was always interested in the Fashion industry and wanted something more specialised rather than just doing A Levels. This course provided me with the insight into the fashion industry as well giving as me a headstart on the skills and experience I would need for that. There were no limitations to what we could design and produce giving us room to find out our own style. I learnt not only how to design but to construct my own garments using industrial machines and techniques. The course doesn’t only focus on the design and making side of the industry but it also teaches us about marketing in the fashion industry.

Not only has the support given by the College and lecturers helped me find out what I want to do next, they have also helped me plan how to do it."
