L2 Award in Retrofit (CG)
Retrofit in construction is due to increase massively, as a way of updating UK housing stock takes into account the government's desire to cut carbon emissions. There is a huge shortage of qualified retrofitters. This entry level 2 qualification is aimed at people who may have recently entered the construction industry and tradespeople - such as electricians, joiners, plumbers, plasterers and bricklayers, who want to develop their skills in retrofit.

There will be a short assessment to ensure this course is suitable for you. -
Course Content
You will develop basic awareness of and responsibilities in the retrofit industry. This will include knowledge of retrofit in practice - PAS 2035 - the overarching standards framework for retrofit and energy efficiency in housing.Learners will develop an:
- Understanding of safe working practices
- Understanding of the benefits of PAS 2035
- Understanding of the impact of PAS 2035
