Childcare E3 (Pre Vocational Award)

This course encourages an understanding of the knowledge and the skills needed to care for young children.

Entry Requirements

You will be assessed on the first session and given advice about the suitability of this course according to your level of written English.

You do not require any previous childcare experience to enrol on this course.
Course Content

This course will cover elements of: Growth and development of young children. Practical health and safety when working with young children. *Healthy eating for families.

You will also complete a Pre-Vocational Award which help you to develop the study skills necessary for making progress with your learning.
Progression Next Steps

You can progress to a qualification course at entry level followed by a level 1 qualification in Childcare.
Course Structure

This course is delivered remotely on a Saturday morning
Assessment Details

Classroom assessment will take place throughout all sessions with tasks and activities and classwork to check your learning.
