"I opted for a BTEC as they allow you to specialise in just one subject that you are particularly interested in, unlike with A Levels. My BTEC course allowed me to study the different aspects of business in much more depth. BTECs also allow you to be more independent and take responsibility for your own learning, as you have to complete coursework in your own time. It allows you to be more creative and you can learn so much more as you often do a lot of your own research, helping to expand your knowledge."

Katie achieved Triple Distinction*, the equivalent of 3 A* at A Level, and has begun an Accounting Apprenticeship at Blick Rothenberg.
