I chose Carshalton College as I live locally and it offered the course I wanted to study.

Working with children has always been my ambition. By studying the Childcare Level 2 course, I wanted to be able to educate young children and help make things easier for them to learn.

I have really enjoyed the work experience, and learning new things all the time.

The work experience has made me become more responsible and helped with my time management, particularly having to get to work on time.  Being in a work environment has helped me with my studies and developing practical everyday skills.

I plan to progress onto the Childcare Level 3 next year and then to univerisity.My dream is to one day own and manage my own nursery chain.

My advice to any students is to not give up on your dreams and goals in life.
