Merton College is a further eduction and adult education provider, offering full time, part time and access courses in South West London. We provide an excellent learning experience to all of our learners, described in our latest Ofsted report as: "Students enjoy their learning and teachers create a welcoming atmosphere in classes. Students are well prepared for progression to higher learning or into employment."
Our range of vocational courses cover a variety of subject areas such as Hairdressing, Hospitality and Catering, Business and Health and Social Care. We are also the main provider of adult education classes in the Merton area. We are committed to excellent teaching and learning and are fortunate to have some amazing teachers and tutors, many from a wide range of industry backgrounds and each an expert in their chosen field.
Merton College is part of an organisation that focuses on respect and hard-work, you’ll be encouraged to challenge yourself but also have a lot of fun along the way. Students learn in first class training facilities, including a commercial hairdressing salon and modern restaurant, and fully equipped industry workshops for engineering and electrical courses. So whether you have aspirations to be a patisserie chef or run your own business, we will be on hand to guide and encourage you every step of the way. Our teachers will work hard to make sure you get the most out of course and in return they’ll expect you to put in the time and effort to thrive in classes.
