Elected Staff Governor
Caroline has worked as a Lifelong Learning practitioner for over 20 years , starting out as an English Language teacher in Brazil and is absolutely passionate about education and training, particularly the Further Education sector. Caroline has a particular interest in ESOL, Basic Skills, Teacher Training and Quality Assurance.
Caroline has worked at Kingston College for the past 15 years, both as a Teacher and subsequently as Curriculum Head; Caroline was heavily involved in previous OFSTED inspections by taking on the role of one of the curriculum leads for KC. She has also successfully led the College British Council inspections. Caroline has been part of various steering groups over the years; more recently the TLA, PDBA, High Needs and Adults. She is also a Safeguarding Officer and a Mentor to NQTs. Caroline is Deputy Head of School Foundation, Intermediate Learning & Employablity (Head of Section - Foundation & Intermediate Learning)
Caroline is a Chartered Manager and holds a Masters' Degree in TESOL. Caroline won College Staff Awards in 2010-11 as Skills for Life Excellence and in 2015-16 and 2019-20 for High Team Performance.
