Rob is a qualified solicitor and has worked in law, international finance and education.
He has been involved in the education and training sector for over twenty years since purchasing ITEC (the International Therapy Examination Council), an international Awarding Organisation in the health, beauty and sports sectors, in 1998. Rob chaired ITEC until it’s sale to VTCT in 2016. He also owns Remit, which he purchased in 2008. Remit is a large multisector training provider in the automotive, IT, food, care and business services sectors. Rob chairs the Remit Group board.
Rob joined the Aelp (Association of Employment & Learning Providers) board in 2018, chairs the Aelp Membership & Revenue Sub Group and is a member of the Aelp Finance Sub Group.
Rob served as Chair of the STCG Corporation for five years from 2019 until 2024 and is staying on the Corporation as a governor for the final year of his term of office.
Rob has other business interests in the skincare and automotive sectors, is passionate about classic cars and is a keen cyclist.
