John is the Divisional Director of Nursing and Therapies at the Central London Community Healthcare Trust an NHS Trust in South West London, and has a particular interest in the support and development of education in the area. As a college graduate, John understands the importance that colleges play in preparing young people and adults for life. John is a lifelong learner an a keen believer in supporting education for all members of society.
As both a Director of Nursing and Therapies in South West London and a Registered Nurse, John has a unique understanding of the role education provides to our health service and our growing communities. His experience in the Community health setting gives a unique understanding of the future needs of the health service, particularly given the drive to deliver more care out of hospital.
John understands the health and social care needs of our local communities, which puts him in a unique position to be able to support the college in its strategic direction to transform teaching and learning services and establish and sustain effective partnerships across the region
