Cllr George Crivelli has been a councillor in Wandsworth since 2014 and was appointed as Cabinet member for Children’s services in May 2026 having previously served as Chairman of the Education overview and scrutiny committee at Wandsworth Council between 2017 and 2022.
He is a lawyer specialising in the field of criminal law. Prior to his career in law, he was an adviser to the Association of London Government for 5 years, working with the 33 London Boroughs on pan London issues.
George is currently a governor of Greenmead school in Wandsworth a maintained special day school which educates children with profound learning & physical disabilities as well as complex health needs.
He is also a member of the South London Relief in Sickness fund which provides one-off grants for residents of Lambeth and Wandsworth who are mentally or physically ill, disabled, or in financial need.
George is also a Trustee of Wandsworth music which works in partnership with schools across the borough to support children and young people through high-quality music education both in and beyond the classroom.
