Alison is a councillor for Kingston Council (RBK) representing Surbiton Hill ward and was elected in May 2018. She was portfolio holder for Finance and Commissioning from 2018-2020 and currently is Co-Chair of Surbiton Neighbourhood committee, Vice Chair of the Pension committee, member of the Children’s and Adult’s social care and Education committee and the Audit committee.
She is also Shadow member for London Councils Education and Skills group.
Alison is a Chartered Accountant training and working for EY in Glasgow. She also lectured in Finance and Accounting at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Alison has lived in Kingston for over 20 years raising her family, but also volunteered with local charities and schools. She continues to be a senior street pastor in Kingston and has been doing this since it started in 2006.
