King's Trust Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development and Employability Skills

This combined programme brings together the Level 1 Certificate in Personal Development and Employability Skills from The King's Trust and the Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development from NOCN.

The course is designed for students who want to develop confidence, independence, and practical skills to prepare for further education, training, or employment. It focuses on personal development, employability, teamwork, communication and goal-setting. Students will gain the knowledge and experience needed to understand the workplace, explore career options and develop essential life skills.

Through a combination of practical activities, workshops and guided learning, this programme provides a supportive environment for students to build their skills and progress with confidence.

  • Entry Requirements


    To enrol on this course, students will normally need:

    • 4 x GCSE's at grade 2 - 9, including English and maths
    • A positive attitude towards learning and working with others
