Entry Requirements
In order to be able to enrol for this course, Learners must meet the following criteria:Be aged 19 or over Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years Have achieved a Grade C (or above) in GCSE English, or a Pass in Functional Skills Level 2.

Course Content
Learners work through online theory modules, before completing a series of related questions.By the end of the course learners will be able to:
- Describe how core counselling skills can be used in a counselling relationship and in other helping activities
- Describe how counselling theory underpins the use of counselling skills
- Describe how the ethical framework informs own use of counselling skills.
- Describe how to develop skills and qualities in the future.
An Assessor is assigned to each course, and can support learners virtually where required.
