L1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment and CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for Operatives (for CSCS Green Card)
This Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification, along with the CITB Health, Safe and Environment test is for those wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme Green Card (CSCS Card), to access construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker.
CSCS introduced a requirement for applicants to achieve a formal knowledge based qualification, the Health and Safety in a Construction Environment' Award. Achievement of this award will demonstrate the applicant's understanding of key issues affecting safe working practices on UK construction sites.
South Thames College run regular Test Days, where you will receive training before taking two online exams to gain the qualifications necessary to apply for a CSCS card.
The training and the tests all take place in one day at our Wandsworth campus.
