This short course will help you develop your digital skills through PowerPoint presentation working towards an intermediate level.

    COURSE OVERVIEW ========================== This beginner-friendly course introduces learners to the core features of PowerPoint and empowers them to create visually engaging presentations. Through practical exercises and real-world examples, participants will gain the confidence to use PowerPoint effectively in academic, professional, or personal settings.

  • Entry Requirements


    ENTRY REQUIREMENT

    • No prior experience with PowerPoint is required • Basic computer literacy is recommended • Entry level English

  • Course Content


    This course will cover how to:

    • Create a new presentation
    • Insert new slides with appropriate layouts
    • Insert and manipulate objects – pictures and graphics
    • Add slide transitions
    • Add animations, including motion paths.
    • Use design features to customise presentation.
    • Add sound and videos.
    • Add timings for self running presentation
    • Tips and techniques for efficiency.

    PROGRESSION ===================== After completing this course, learners can progress to: Intermediate PowerPoint or Advanced Presentation Design Digital Skills for the Workplace Courses in Excel, Word, or other Microsoft Office tools Public speaking and communication workshops
