    No prior digital experience required but some basic skills will be beneficial. Suitable for beginners and those returning to learning *Basic literacy and numeracy recommended

    Introduction to Essential Digital Skills includes:

    • Processing a document including - how to create, save and print
    • Learn the basics of how to use Microsoft office 365 tools
    • How to use tools to edit your text such as spellcheck, cut, copy and paste, insert images, design posters
    • How to format your document using page numbers, colour, tables, symbols, shapes, borders, images Word art, headers, and footers

    Learners will complete a Portfolio of digital tasks Practical worksheets and projects will cover:

    A.P1: Identify ways information is presented in different types of documents A.P2: Identify information to use in an agreed document A.P3: Produce a basic document with support and guidance B.P1: Contribute to making a decision when agreeing targets B.P2: Solve basic problems, with support and guidance B.P3: Participate in working towards a given target by following a plan.
