Cake Decorating - Professional Skills
Do you want to try your hand at decorating your own cakes or do you have some home baking experience and want those finishing touches for a professional look? Gain confidence to design, make, decorate, box and transport your cakes safely.

Course Content
You will learn all basic skills like how to choose and use materials, tools and equipment- Step by step guidance through all the processes of how to fill, crumb coat and stack cakes then complete with your own unique decorations
- Work with fondant to coat cakes and model cake toppers
- Make and pipe buttercream using a range of piping tips
- Cut and carve madeira sponge cake for age numbers, novelty shapes, birthdays and baby showers
- Learn tips for that professional finish to your cakes
You will supply your own baked cakes and materials for this course and will be advised what to bring for the first session.
