Visible Mending & Repair: Foundations of Sustainable Stitch

Discover the creative and sustainable art of visible mending. This practical course introduces learners to a range of hand-stitching techniques used to repair, reinforce, and transform damaged or worn textiles. Rather than hiding repairs, visible mending celebrates them, turning signs of wear into unique design features. Through a combination of traditional and contemporary approaches, learners will develop practical sewing skills while exploring more sustainable ways to care for clothing and textiles.
